The book in cream boards is in overall good condition but has been chewed on top edge, bottom corners bumped. Pages aged and all but top edge of text block uneven cut (deckle).There is an inscription on free end paper. A very scarce copy printed to raise funds for St. Mewbred's church, Cardinham. Size - 198mm. x 135mm.(8vo.). Pp.255.

A square, sound copy but boards are soiled, extremities bumped and some childish scribble to endpapers and in text (but looks removable); front hinge a bit slack; previous names to endpaper:- G.D.Cartwright 1899.; usual foxing to eps and sporadic light foxing thereafter. Coode was incumbent at Cardynham, Cornwall in the late 19th century. Although this book is grubby and in need of some care, it is overall a sound example of an extremely scarce title.
