Weizsäcker 1910 sagt Jesus: 'Ich habe Mitleiden mit der Menge') - Anlass zu diesem Bedauern des Predigers und dessen Betrachtungen ganz im Sinne von christlicher Versöhnung, Nächsten- und Bruderliebe war die den katholischen Verliererkantonen des Sonderbundskrieges von den liberalen Siegern auferlegte Schuld zur Begleichung der Kriegskosten von 1847.
