Vorhanden sind: Riga, Revaler Strandtor, Alte Strasse Reval, Rathaus in Kauen, Marktplatz Mitau, Alt-Wilna, St.-Georgs-Kirche in Wilna, Narwa, Schlossruine in Bauske, Abend am Rigaer Strande. - Der v…ielseitige und umtriebige Eugene Klimoff war Maler, Lithograf und Kupferstecher, Professor, Kunsthistoriker, Autor, Mosaizist und Ikonenrestaurator. Landschaften und Porträts zählten zu seinen bevorzugten Sujets. - Eugene Klimoffr wuchs in Lettland in bürgerlichen Verhältnissen auf. 1921 zog die Familie nach Riga, hier begann Klimoff ein Kunststudium an der Rigaer Kunstakademie. Studienreisen führten ihn nach Deutschland, Italien, Frankreich und in die UDSSR. 1929 schloss er das Studium ab und war erfolgreich tätig als Künstler, Lehrer, Autor und Ikonenrestaurator. 1944 erhielt er ein Angebot vom Seminar und Institut NP Kadakov und ließ er sich in Prag nieder. Nach Kriegsende war er 1945-1949 im Flüchtlingslager in Heidenheim bis er mit seiner Familie nach Kanada emigrierte. - Bll. etwas gebräunt, zu den Rändern hin stärker. Ein Bl. mit leichten Läsuren an den Blattaußenkanten. Mappe mit leichten Läsuren. Beigabe: Illustrierte Karte "Das deutsche Ordensland im 14. Jahrhundert", Propyläen-Verlag.
