"Science fiction story of a space flight to the planet Platonista, a small, previously undiscovered, world closer to Earth than Mars, encountered ac…cidentally after the hazardous navigation of a meteor shower. The inhabitants are human, scientifically advanced, and the planet has some curious properties, of which the oddest is that its atmosphere slows light down so that the Platonian astronomers viewing Earth see it as it was 100 years earlier." - Locke, Voyages in Space 129. "An unknown, small planet nearer than Mars. Its capital is Campanella. Private enterprise but protected by state.
