Su reedición tiene como fin hacer llegar al lector modernos tanto las sencillas pero entretenidas historias de guerra tanto como la visión alemana de los dulces primeros años de victorias de una Luftwaffe que en esos momentos parecía poco menos que invencible, demostrando una marcada superioridad sobre sus adversarios y siendo uno de los ejes principales de los asombrosos logros bélicos alemanes.
