Brown cloth with a few spots of mottling; spine mildly sunned with some small slender stains at center; gilt stamping to spine and front board dulled. Brown top edge; slight foxing/toning to fore-edge and bottom edge. Slight foxing to several initial and rear leaves; interior pages are clean. Binding is firm. Laid-in between pages 82-83 is Heritage Club brochure "The Heritage Sandglass" (Number 2C) issued for this specific volume. With several b/w plates and tissue guards. A nice edition of Goethe's FAUST. No date specified but Library of Congress indicates 1939 (emulating the 1932 Limited Editions Club version).
