Paperback. Etat : Very good. First Delta Printing. Octavo with red, white and blue pictorial wrappers; xvi, 223 pages: illustrations; 21 cm. Legendary San Francisco cannabis lawyer since the 1960s Haight Ashbury days takes on this legal issue with cartoons from R. Crumb. "Pot Shots is the only book on the law, civil rights, and the use of marijuana. With vigor and persuasion, the author demonstrates that our citizens, especially the young, are being victimized and alienated by over-zealous, repressive law enforcement activities that make them easy marks for arrest and harassment. Stepanian shows that faulty warrants and improper search and seizure procedures, when widley used in one area, can easily infect other areas of national life. Both smokers and non-smokers will benefit from his advice and fresh perspectives on some of our most basic rights -- most importantly, the right to be left alone." --Back cover. Very good (-); clean and tight; some damp rippling and scuffing to wrappers and first 10 pages, small creases on rear wrappers; sunning to spine; please see photos. R. Crumb (illustrateur).…
