He has played in a national golf championship inside what was then the iron curtain, trekked the Himalayas and, with his family had skied and ridden horses on most countries on this planet. He doesn't live in Cottesloe. In the early 60's he awoke one morning to a voice that said, "Buy a yacht and sail around the world" years later another voice said , "now write a book". (back of book).
