Near fine bright copy in a lightly handled dust jacket with a few small tears and minor edge wear and the corners clipped at the front jacket flap. The dust jacket has a terrific color illustration of a swastika interlaced with spears. Ottwell Binns (1872 - 1935) was a prolific British novelist and Unitarian minister who published a number of novels under the pseudonym of Ben Bolt. The novel takes place as the NazisÕ rise to power and begin to threaten the world at large. It is an adventure and mystery novel telling the story of a world famous Jewish opera singer Rachel Mendelssohn who is captured by the Nazis and held captive in a castle and her subsequent rescue.
