The final issue of the short-lived (13 issues in all) bi-monthly journal founded by the Socialist Party of America in 1917 to further the views of the "Zimmerwald Left" in America; ownership had been transferred to the CLPA in October 1919 following a three-way split of the SPA. The following month (the month of this issue's publication), the Palmer raids began, forcing the CLPA and its sister organizations underground, and terminating the journal's publication.
