Simpson was one of the best known and popular art…ists and journalists of the Victorian era, famous for his reporting from Crimea and the Second Afghan War as well as many public events across the UK. This collection, published just after his death, took 48 illustrations of his home city, largely from the early part of his career. [heavy item, may need additional postage to some destinations].
