The various papers form a collection of literature not only interesting but of great historical value. This volume with 20 papers. While most are contributed by Ohio men, there are two papers by Rufus Dawes of the 6th Wisconsin describing events at both Antietam and Gettysburg. Very attractive copy of an excellent compilation of interesting and valuable personal narratives.
