(Documented Drawings and Text by Olin Dows - 174 black-and-white illustrations) The book was published by American Artists Group, inc. in 1949 and appears to be a First Edition but is not specifically stated as such. The book is NOT an ex-library copy and while the book is in very good + condition the dust jacket is only in good + condition. The edges are "ragged" and the dust jacket has had it's price on the front flap torn off. The book, itself is in beautiful shape for its age. The book is 7 5/8" by 10 5/8" and has 182 pages with the fore-mentioned black-and-white illustrations throughout the book. "In this volume, the spiritual and political giant that was Franklin Roosevelt is removed from the world stage upon which he was a principal actor and is shown in his every-day activities at his beloved home at Hyde Park." Thank you. Olin Dows (illustrateur).…
