Wear and chipping to covers, losses at corners, marble paper insets on each volume scuffed as well. Front pastedown of each volume split at gutter, text block still attached to cover board by cords. William Paley's famous and influential work, Natural Theology, with significant commentary. Published in four volumes, bound as two.

This classic poetry, written in 1789, was originally hand colored on each page and is reproduced here in full color for a visually rich experience. Songs includes his most famous poem, "Tiger Tiger burning bright, In the forests of the night, " and many others.
