Las bionanoemulsiones se prepararon tanto en blanco como con formas cargadas de fármaco, a una concentración de 3 mM/mL. Las bionanoemulsiones cargadas con el fármaco, así como las preparadas en blanco, se han caracterizado termodinámicamente por sus propiedades fisicoquímicas de tensión superficial, viscosidad, densidad, velocidad del sonido y medición de la conductividad, para determinar cuantitativamente la eficacia de la carga del fármaco. La caracterización con respecto a la dispersión adecuada y homogénea del fármaco también se ha investigado mediante DLS-Dynamic Light Scattering.
