Paperback. Etat : new. Paperback. Literature to Leadership: Lessons from Classics for Contemporary Professionals is a thought-provoking guide that redefines leadership through the enduring wisdom of literary classics. Drawing on Western and non-Western texts-from epics and tragedies to modern narratives-the book presents leadership as a moral, emotional, and relational practice rather than a purely managerial skill. It shows how literature cultivates ethical judgment, emotional intelligence, reflective thinking, and responsible decision-making in complex professional environments. Written in a clear and engaging style, this book is ideal for contemporary professionals, educators, and emerging leaders seeking depth beyond conventional leadership manuals. By treating literary works as lived case studies, it equips readers to lead with clarity, empathy, and purpose in today's uncertain and demanding world. About the Author: Dr Prakash Chandra Patel is a remarkable figure in the realm of education and motivation, having dedicated two decades of his life to enriching the lives of students and individuals through his profound wisdom and inspiring words. With a passion for empowering others, he has already authored twelve other influential books: Business Collocations Unlocked: 3100+ Phrases for Success, Branding Brilliance: Crafting a Standout Personal Brand, Literary Theory Made Easy: A Beginner's Handbook, Master Your English Through Captivating Conversations: Engage, Excel and Empower, Rising Strong: A Blueprint for Overcoming Adversity, The Art of Balance: Achieving Success without Burnout, Introduction to Language and Linguistics, MBA-Master of Business Administration in 10 Days, Rise of the Everyday Hero: Ordinary People, Extraordinary Lives, British Poetry and Drama: A Critical Guide, Language, Literature and Cultural Experience: A Critical Companion and so on. Currently, he is teaching the intricacies of English language and literature at Kuchinda College, Kuchinda. Dr. Prakash Chandra Patel is a distinguished academic with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in English from Sambalpur University. He also holds a Master of Arts (MA) in English and a UGC-NET certification in English, showcasing his deep commitment to literature. His academic pursuits extend to Linguistics, with a Master of Arts (MA) in Linguistics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, along with a UGC-NET certification, reflecting his linguistic expertise. His passion for communication led him to pursue a Master of Journalism and Mass Communication (MJMC) from Odisha State Open University, supported by a UGC-NET certification in Mass Communication and Journalism.Driven by a desire to understand business and leadership, he holds four Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from diverse institutions around the world-Chandigarh University, the European School of Business in Barcelona, Academy Europe Open University, and MBAone Global OpenServe Business School. He has also earned a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), further strengthening his strategic and leadership acumen. In addition, he holds a Master in Business and Corporate Communication (MBCC) from the European School of Business in Barcelona and a Premiership in Business Management from ICTRD.
