Inscribed by the author to a fellow prisoner on the half title page. The dust wrapper is in very good condition and is not price clipped, with some wear and loss to the top and base of the spine. There is rubbing to all edges, and a blue mark to the bottom corner of the rear cover. The wrapper comes in a clear unattached protective cover. Signed dedication from the author to a fellow prisoner. There is also a postcard from the author discussing the book. The author served as a major in the Royal Artillery at Singapore where he was captured and held captive by the Japanese, until the end of the war. The book is an account of the authors experiences during that period. We have a number of similar titles on the far east during WWII. Inscribed by Author(s).
