Multiple sections bound together in library binding; each section individually paginated. Sections are numbered as follows: 432, 459, and 690 -- pu…blished, respectively, in 1927, 1933 and 1939. The first section is titled "Slotted-Wing Airplanes (No. 432)". 10 pages. The next is titled "Wind-Tunnel Tests on Model Wing With Fowler Flap and Specially Developed Leading-Edge Slot (No. 459)". 10 pages. Section 3 is titled "Resume of Air-Load Date on Slats and Flaps (No. 690)". Also 10 pages. Each section is followed by multiple figures and tables. The entire volume, with original covers, has a later library binding. Gutters at front and back reinforced with white cloth. A library stamp and some writing in pen on the front free endpaper. Pages within are clean and free of foreign markings. Light rubbing to covers. Comes from a large collection of technical memorandums from the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics before the committee was abolished upon creation of NASA in 1958.
