Title page notes 'Profits to be given in aid of a new Church or…Chapel at Leeds.' E. B. Pusey was a leader of the Anglo-Catholic Oxford Movement and coordinated funding for the construction of St. Saviour's Chapel in a poor district of Leeds. It retains an Anglo-Catholic character to this day.
