Contains the catalogue of exhibits and brief essays by Bernard Rackham, Dr. Bellamy Gardner, William King, Frank Stoner, Charles Vyse, Halsey Ricardo, and Reginald Blunt. With a colored frontispiece and 55 black and white plates, most illustrating multiple objects. 132pp 2.39lb 10.1x7.9x1.4in.

Illustrated in one section with photographs by James Hedde…rley of Chelsea of the Sixties (presumably the 1860's). Pages uncut. An Exhibition of Autographic Prints of the 18th, 19th and 20th Centuries at Fulham Central Library March 25th to April 12th 1941 booklet loosely inserted. Spine creased. Head and foot of spine chipped and frayed. Covers worn. Some pages foxed, most pages lightly foxed. Area of loss approximately 2 cm by 14 cm to top of title page. Text unaffected. Overall, the book is in just about a good condition.

Miscellany of articles based on Chelsea Porcelain and the Chelsea Borough, seemingly published for charitable fundraising. Original paper label on cover. Binding… somewhat worn with chipped and worn edges, numerous small edge splits, splitting to parts of spine seams front and rear with some loss at head, and creasing to two corners. Text tight, clean but some foxing throughout, occasionally moderate to heavy. Top corner of last few leaves creased. Overall a decent reading copy.
