Hardcover. Etat : Fair. Green cloth covers with white and black lettering on spine and front cover which is worn and faded. Illustrated color pastedown on front cover has light wear and soiling. Black decorative borders on the front cover and spine are lightly faded and worn. Covers exhibit heavy wear, soiling, bumping and fraying on corners and spine ends. Moderate wear and soiling on hinges and edges. Occasional worm holes on hinges. Heavy soiling and shelf wear to covers and spine. Moderate soiling and yellowing to page ends, ffep's and bfep's. Text and the many b&w illustrations are yellowed due to age. Otherwise clean and unmarked. Hinges are loose but not cracked. The 2 full page color illustrations are clean and unmarked. "Stories about the children mentioned in the Old and New Testaments. Retold for Young Folks." All books are individually examined and described. Never ex-lib unless stated.

Hardcover. Etat : Fair. No Jacket. There is heavy wear on the spine and the tile of the book is not mostly readable. On the back cover at the spine there is a approximate 1/2 inch tear all the way through the cover, brown spotting is on the outside page edges. The free front end page has been torn out. The book is still readable, the first part is titled "Boys of the Bible" told in simple language, the second part is titled "Girls of the Bible" told in simple language. There is some illustration, more black and white but some in color. The binding is loose on the first three pages but they are still hanging on. The covers could be called poor and the interior good minus, hence my overall condition grade of fair. Available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box!
