A fine original colour lithograph from Vanity Fair, a magazine which was published from 1869-1914, featuring a large caricature portrait each week. These were drawn by various artists, the most famous of whom was Leslie Ward who used the 'nom de crayon' of "Spy". This portrait will come mounted/matted and ready to frame using archivist quality materials, mount size 18 x 12 inches, 47 x 31 cms. It will be presented in a cellophane wrapper with our label guaranteeing authenticity. We pack very well, between sheets of hardboard. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a portrait of Lord Robartes, MP, with the caption "East Cornwall". Accompanied by a one page biographical sheet. Thomas Charles Agar-Robartes, 6th Viscount Clifden (1 January 1844-19 July 1930), styled the Lord Robartes from 1882 to 1899, was a British Liberal politician.

With the receipt signature of the lender 'Henry Durley' on verso, and a note 'Delivered to the Bank by me this [31st, crossed out] first day of December 1711 [? by mistake for 1st January]', signed George Thornhill.
