As his son, the master bookbinder Gustav Walther Bösenberg (1845-1895), succeeded his father in the business after latter's death, this book's binding may have been completed under the supervision of Gustav Walther, as Julius Ferdinand died in 1881 and the colophon of the book states the book was completed in 1882.
