If, as Robert Spero shows, paid political announcements, now the chief presidential campaign weapon, ere subjected to the tough regulatory tests a simple soap commercial must pass, few would have been aired to the American viewer/voter, and the history of the past 28 years might well have been different: Vietnam, Watergate, the Persian Gulf, for example. Caterpillar was a noted little magazine devoted to giving voice to underrepresented and experimental poets and writers (see Anderson and Kinzie) as well as work in visual arts, film, etc (Clay and Phillips p. 125). GOOD+ condition. Wrappers browned along the spine, with minor staining to the rear cover. Minor soiling, scuffing and edgewear. Interior clean and solid.
