Offered is the premiere issue of the "Merry Brook Art Journal" (Vol. 1 No. 1 - Fall 1973), an early zine edited by Rick Markley; Rachel Yoh (Assistant Editor); Robin Keely (Secretary); Donna Laboda (Assistant Secretary); and Ray Solimai (Treasurer). A left-folded magazine measuring 8-1/2" by 11" and containing eight pages including front and rear covers. The Contributing Staff were John Gallagher; Jim Brunner; Marion Haas; John Goodwin; and Joe Magee. I could not determine the place of publication. Containing no articles, this zine contains illustrations, three photographs (including the rear cover photo of young skier "Brian" by John Goodwin); and comic strips. Page edges lightly age-browned; several light nibbles to mid-left edge of rear cover; very short closed edge tear to each page.…
