Taschenbuch. Etat : Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - This book delves into the innovative use of industrial waste materials, specifically Copper Slag (CS) and Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP), in Warm Mix Asphalt (WMA) pavements. As environmental concerns escalate due to the rising volume of waste generated by industries like thermal power plants and the demolition of asphalt pavements, the book highlights the necessity of finding sustainable solutions for waste disposal and resource management.By integrating CS and RAP into asphalt mixes, the book illustrates how these materials can significantly reduce reliance on traditional asphalt, ultimately lowering construction costs and minimizing environmental impact. Key concepts include the optimization of Sasobit, a rejuvenator that decreases mixing temperatures, and the application of various performance tests to evaluate the characteristics of the modified asphalt mixes.Through this approach, the book advocates for a shift towards more sustainable methodologies in road construction, effectively addressing both economic and environmental challenges.…
