Gastropods with a radula and gill are known as prosobranchs. Prosobranchs are the largest group of snails. The species in this book belong to three separate families within the prosobranch gastropod group. The book includes original macroscopic descriptions and the first histological descriptions of the species, Mucronalia szwiegelae and Sti/ifer sz°à ogae, which are new to science.
