Jahrestagung der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Plastische- und Wiederherstellungschirurgie lautet: 'Regionale plastische Chirurgie und Wiederher stellungschirurgie bei bösartigen Tumoren, funktionelle und aesthetische Aspekte'. Diese onkologische Fragestellung belegt im besonderen Maße, daß kein medizinisches Fachgebiet auf eine breite interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit verzichten kann. Dem chirurgisch-praktischen Teil wurden daher bewußt Themen der Grundlagen forschung, wie Probleme der Tumorabwehr und der speziellen Transplantationsim munologie bei der Verpflanzung von Haut, Knochen und Knorpel vorangestellt. Eine besondere Diskussion erforderte die autologe und homologe Nerventransplan tation. Neuland wurde betreten mit der freien Dünndarmtransplantation unter Anwendung mikrochirurgiseher Gefaßanastomosen zur Wiederherstellung großer Tumordefekte der Mundhöhle. In Verbindung damit sind zu nennen die Omenturn majus Plastik und die freie Verpflanzung gefaßgestielter Beckenkammtransplantate zur Wiederher stellung von Form und Funktion nach operativer Entfernung bösartiger Geschwülste. An kritischen Betrachtungen zu den vorgenannten Operationen fehlte es nicht, was besonders für Fälle galt, bei denen mit konventionellen Nah- und Fernlappen oder aktuellen myocutanen Insellappen gute rekonstruktive Ergebnisse zu erzielen sind. Wir hoffen, daß wir mit der Abhandlung der Thematik den Teilnehmern der Jahres tagung und Lesern dieses Kongreßbandes für ihr eigenes Wirken Anregungen und da mit einen Beitrag für die Reintegration der Kranken in das gesellschaftliche Leben gegeben haben.…
