Whether bassist Oscar Pettiford, who had been playing with Shearing at the Three Deuces on 52nd Street and then at Cafe Society, recorded with the group here is unclear, though likely. This album would catalog $60 in "near mint," though we grade it slightly lower than that. Now reduced from $20.

On release Nov. 3rd, 1958." Seven-inch promotional disc appears unplayed, color cardboard picture sleeve very-good-plus with some ringwear to white verso.
