Slip case is sturdy, but is faded, missing chips of green cloth, and has a 1 inch split in the joint of the rear panel. Contains stories of hunting and fishing in the countryside of Vermont. Vol. 2 has 186 pages and is the same exterior without any damage. Vol. 3 has 1…60 pages and is similar to Vol. 2. In all volumes the interior pages are clean, unmarked and binding tight. The slip case shows edge wear and there are six places on the edges where a small piece of the cover paper is missing. The title plate on the outside has small soil marks but is all present. Inside the books there is a note that there were 5,000 copies of this book printed at that time. Illustrations by Arthur D. Fuller (illustrateur).
