Smith, the SUBJECT, Oscar Goodman, his wife Carol Goodman (who figures prominently in the b…ook, and who succeed Oscar as Mayor of Las Vegas in 2011, and to whom, along with 3 other women, the BOOK is DEDICATED), and Oscar Goodman's Chief of Staff Stephanie Boixo (who later became Stephanie Goodman upon her marriage to Oscar's son Eric). The inscriptions are dated 9/30/03. The book was almost certainly signed at the book's release party at the Icehouse bistro in Las Vegas on that same day. Laid-in is Jon Ralston's long book review (filling more than a full page in the Las Vegas Sun, Oct 12, 2003). Fine condition in a bright and shiny Near Fine dust jacket.
