Catalog for the Russian Pavilion at the VI Venice Bienalle featuring unbuilt architectural plans and drawings from the Soviet era. The storage of the exhibition material is interesting: "Sixteen [flat] 30-file cabinets accommodating graphic sheets are to be arranged at random in the semi-darkness of the pavilion." There was comp…uter referencing for viewers wanting to see a specific exhibit. With list and illustrations of some of the exhibits; a laid-in image shows the file cabinets as installed. Also with brief essay by Konstantin Boym. Text in English and Russian. First edition. 30 cm; 16 pp.; illustrated from photographs and drawings, in wall calendar format so beloved by Russians. Corners bumped; else very good in stiff card wrappers.
