First edition. 8 1/2" x 11" typed sheets. Comprises seven short chapters in thirteen pages that tell the history of Navajo Indians from the Navajo point of view. Stories include splitting from the Apaches and relocating to Arizona and New Mexico; fighting Mexicans to maintain their new home; being defeated by Kit Carson and U. S…. soldiers; learning silver-smithing from Mexicans and learning rug-making from Pueblo Indians. The sheets are in very good condition and are housed in the original transmittal envelope.
