Housed in a custom gray cloth clamshell, title over red morocco label on the spine. (Brooks A7.1) An exceptional copy. King's first collection of short fiction, with an introduction by John D. MacDonald and stories including "Jerusalem's Lot," "Graveyard Shift," "The Lawnmower Man," and "Children of the Corn." The initial print run was 1,500 copies, the smallest of any first printing of King's work. The first edition, first printing of Night Shift by Stephen King, in the publisher's fine dust jacket.
