Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the captivating life of Thomas Tyldesley, a man of noble lineage and a devout Catholic living in 18th-century Lancashire, England. Through the meticulous entries of his personal diary, we embark on a journey through a tumultuous era marked by political and religious upheaval. Tyldesley's world is one of stark contrasts, where loyalty to the exiled Stuart dynasty clashes with the prevailing Protestant establishment.
