Collins on colophon at rear. Matheson's massively influential haunted house novel, basis for the 1973 film The Legend of Hell House starring Roddy McDowall and Pamela Franklin. This edition also features some of the last artwork by Basso, who passed away shortly after finishing the illustrations. Signed.
