The sixth and most recent General is Frederick Roberts, who was elevated to his earldom by Queen Victoria just days before she died in January 1901. Hence I estimate date of publication at early C20. Tan cloth with gilt and colour, lightly worn and sparsely illustrated. All page edges gilt. Eps browned but no foxing to text and no inscription. All profits to Amnesty International. Size: 14.5cm - 20.6cm with 357pp.
