Marika Hanbury Tenison (1938-82), was married to cornish explorer and founder of Survival International Robin Hanbury Tenison. She accompanied him on several expeditions to Indonesia, Malyasia and Brazil and was cookery editor of the Sunday Telegraph from 1968 until her death from cancer at the tragically early age of 44 in 1982. I particularly liked her recipe for Brussel Sprout and Almond creamed suop in this book.
