This paradox, called stagflation, was inconsistent with the tenet of Keynesian economics that cyclical movemants in prices and output relative to their respective trends are positively correlated. A search occurred for a more satisfactory theory of macroeconomics which could explain the paradox of stagflation and the observed economic phenomena. The New Classical Economics (NCE) developed as the total rejection of Keynesian economics. The School/Workshop was an activity of the project REX - Research and Education in Concurrent Systems. The volume contains tutorials and research contributions to the three approaches - linear time, - branching time, and - partial order in semantics and proof theory of concurrent programs by the main specialists in this field. It promotes an in-depth understanding of the relative merits and disadvantages of these three approaches. Die Möglichkeit derartiger Verteilungskonflikte wird auf die Existenz verlorener Kosten und dünner Märkte zurückgeführt und die Existenz von Marktverbänden, insbesondere Gewerkschaften, damit begründet. In einem zweiten Teil werden die allgemeinen Resultate auf Gewerkschaften angewandt. In einem einfachen Modell wird die Lohnbildung in einem Unternehmen untersucht, das wegen versunkener Kosten vom Arbeitsmarkt abgeschottet ist. Die Arbeiter versuchen einen Teil der Quasirente zu erhalten, wobei sie berücksichtigen müssen, daß die Gefahr des Verlustes des Arbeitsplatzes in einer späteren Periode steigt, wenn dem Unternehmen ein kleinerer Anteil an der Quasirente verbleibt. Ziel der Konferenz war es, ein Forum zu schaffen, auf dem die grundsätzlichen Aspekte der künftigen Gestaltung der europäischen Telekommunikationsmärkte angesprochen und diskutiert werden konnten. Erleichtert wird diese Aufgabe heute durch moderne Dokumentations- und Auswertungssysteme. Einen einfachen MaBstab fliT die Qualitatsbeurteilung und -sicherung stellen dabei die laufende Dokumentation der Komplikationen, ihre Analyse und die sich daraus ergebenden klinischen Ma~nahmen dar. Dieses System der wochentlichen Dokumentation der Kompli kationen im Rahmen der Abteilungskonferenz geht auf die chirurgischen Lehrmeister, Prof. Allgower in Basel und Prof. Burri in Ulm, zurtick. Die ausflihrliche Analyse des ersten Flinfjahreszeitraums war schwierig und zeitaufwendig, da einerseits die Aufstellung eines eigenen Programms fliT die Computerbearbeitung not wendig, andererseits die sorgfaItige Auswertung der Krankengeschichte zeitaufwendig war. Man kann davon ausgehen, daB die aufgetretenen Komplikationen weitgehend voll standig erfa~t wurden, da die wochentliche Dokumentation immer mit allen Mitarbeitern erfolgte. Das Ziel dieser Arbeit war, fliT die eigene Klinik eine laufende Kontrolle zu erhalten. Dabei konnte festgestellt werden, daB eine zunehrnende Erfahrung und verbesserte Orga nisation zu einer Abnahme der Komplikationen flihrte. Dies deckt sich auch mit Erkennt nissen aus anderen Studien. Unser Beitrag solI eine Diskussionsanregung sein, wobei im Vergleich mit anderen Kliniken unsere Zahlen teilweise tiber dem Durchschnitt liegen werden, da die ersten 5 Jahre z. T. noch durch die Aufbauarbeit charakterisiert waren.
