Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. This book is an enthralling look into the life of a prestigious family and the intense power struggles within it. Set against the backdrop of a tumultuous 19th century France, the novel follows Doctor Bazacle, a revered scientist whose controversial work and beliefs place him at odds with the devout, conservative values of his family. The novel explores the compelling themes of science versus religion, family loyalty versus personal growth, and the search for truth in a world of conflicting ideologies. Through the lens of the Bazacle family, the author delves deeply into the complexities of human nature, the impact of societal pressure, and the transformative power of scientific discovery. In a time of rapid societal change, the Bazacle family becomes a microcosm of the broader conflicts facing France. The author's vivid descriptions and nuanced characterizations bring to life the struggles of a family torn between tradition and progress. The novel's insightful examination of the tension between scientific rationalism and religious faith resonates powerfully in today's world, offering a timeless perspective on the human condition. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…

Taschenbuch. Kartoniert. Etat : Gut. Erste Auflage dieser Ausgabe. 272 Seiten. 18 cm. Umschlaggestaltung: Rambow, Lienemeyer, van de Sand. Guter Zustand. April 1840 in Paris; 29.
