The rear hinge is cracked. Illustrated with a color frontispiece & 7 black-and-white plates with an additional facsimile frontispiece in the Annex. Good. First edition.The "Annex", entitled "A Plea For G.B.S.", concerns the relationship between George Bernard Shaw and Ellen Terry and the controversy over the publication of their correspondence after Terry's death.
