Katherine Garrison Chapin (1890-1977) was an American author, poet, essayist, and civil rights advocate. She was a prolific writer and her work appeared in many publications including The American Scholar, Contemporary Poetry, Poetry Magazine, the Saturday Review of Literature, and Harper's Magazine.
