Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. A clean and crisp hardback copy of the standard edition (ie not the limited edition, which came with a separate map). No previous ownership names. There are a few tiny nicks to the extremities (I have pictured the most noticeable, which is on the top edge of the upper cover, near the spine). The boards and spine are clean, the binding is secure and the contents are bright and fresh. The publisher's blue slip case is lightly marked, but not bumped, split or falling apart. Overall, a very good hardback copy of the standard edition with a few tiny nicks to the extremities.

Henry was the first English monarch to fully realise the potential of maps as practical instruments of government. The 'Angliae Figura' was both lavish and useful. It was the most realistic depiction of Britain to date.
