The original publisherâs red cloth boards remain wonderfully bright and sharp, showing virtually no shelf-wear or fading, while the gilt lettering and emblem on the spine are completely unoxidised and brilliant. The binding is exceptionally tight and perfectly square, indicating the book has been gently handled and well-stored. The text block is impressively clean, with the pages remaining crisp and bright; the slight foxing is almost entirely confined to the fore-edge and does not intrude into the margins.
