L'utilisation d'un grand nombre d'espèces végétales par les tribus pour satisfaire leurs besoins quotidiens est en grande partie due à la prévalence de la diversité de la végétation dans le sud-est du Rajasthan. En raison des sécheresses récurrentes et du surpâturage, plusieurs espèces d'herbe persistantes sont en déclin et beaucoup d'entre elles sont en voie d'extinction. En raison du manque de sensibilisation et de recherche sur cet important groupe de plantes, les habitants de cette région ne connaissent pas cette richesse patrimoniale. Het gebruik van een groot aantal plantensoorten door de stammen om aan hun dagelijkse behoeften te voldoen is grotendeels te wijten aan de prevalentie van de diversiteit van de vegetatie in het zuidoosten van Rajasthan. Door terugkerende droogteperiodes en overbegrazing nemen verschillende hardnekkige grassoorten af en veel van hen staan op het punt uit te sterven. Door een gebrek aan bewustzijn en onderzoek naar deze belangrijke groep planten zijn de mensen in deze regio niet bekend met deze rijkdom aan erfgoed. L'utilisation d'un grand nombre d'espèces végétales par les tribus pour satisfaire leurs besoins quotidiens est en grande partie due à la prévalence de la diversité de la végétation dans le sud-est du Rajasthan. En raison des sécheresses récurrentes et du surpâturage, plusieurs espèces d'herbe persistantes sont en déclin et beaucoup d'entre elles sont en voie d'extinction.
