Her first cookbook was written during the second world war to develop recipes using corn syrup for the sweetener as sugar was rationed. She wrote a daily food column which started in 1928. An excellent and uncommon cookbook which she published herself (the first printing was in 1978), with about 1000 recipes, quite clearly written. . (2.9 JM HOJ 300/b3 Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
