Condition is Near Fine: exceptionally bright & clean with the occasional smudge; 1 creased page, unfolded. All pages are creamy white & unmarked save for old gift inscription dated 1933 to rear free endpaper & that young recipient's name & address to "This Is My Book Box" inside front cover. Binding strong & straight, hinges secure, but cracking to gutters at both front & rear free endpapers. Text block sturdy, stitching secure.
