"The book is set in 16 point point Centaur, on a page size six and a half by nine and a half. The text is enclosed in rules and set so as to bring out the clarity and the poetry of the King James version. David Read's commentary runs as marginal notes and is printed in blue-grey. Where, as Dr. Read has it, God puts "a little psalm" into the mouth of Jonah, the text bursts forth into a splendid red.
