The Bible looks and feels new and unused, original unused bookplate laid in loosely at the front, the ribbon bookmark probably where it was put when issued, no names or other markings. The slipcase has surface breaks to some of the edges but remains structurally sound, soil and other wear. Hard Cover. Very Good/Fair Slipcase. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

Pictorial Hard Boards. Etat : Good. Illustrated with 8 full page colour plates and numerous line drawings throughout the text. Cloth spine with pictorial front board. Rubbing to the edges and corners of the boards. Slight splitting to the front inner hinge, with the front board being slightly shaken only. Foxing to the title page and to the periphery of other pages, in no way affecting the text of the book. A 2 cm area of loss to the periphery of one page and a couple of other pages have slight tears with no loss, not affecting the text. Slight creasing to a few page corners. Otherwise a good copy of this book.
