The sea is the largest lake in California with 370 sq. miles of water surface area and has one of the lowest surface elevations at 277 feet below sea level. The problem with the Salton Sea is its higher level of salinity than most of the water resources surrounding it. This project requires software such as ArcGIS to organize, process, and analyze the data for finding the optimal location for pipelines between the Salton Sea and the Gulf of California with minimal environment impacts. By considering some data for the study area such as slope, cities, rivers, roads, land cover, and protected land, the least cost path analysis tool was used to create the optimal route for the pipelines. Additionally, solar radiation analysis was performed to map and analyze the sun effects for a specific area using spatial variability of isolation such as aspect, elevation, and shadows. The study looked at how they translated these concern into dieting practices and behaviours. 9,755 school children (year 8 (age 12-13) and year 10 (age 14-15)) from across the United Kingdom and Wales. Of those, 1,133 were healthy- weight children. This study found that gender and age had an influence on weight-loss desires and dietary practices among children. A sample of 3,220 U.S. Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) firms for the 1990-2005 period is used to test the hypotheses. To measure the VC reputation effect, I use two proxies which are: number of companies taken public by the VC and the age of the VC. The findings of the paper show that VC-backed firms perform better than non VC-backed firms in the first, second and third year of issuance. Also, reputable VC-backed firms perform better than average VC-backed ones in the second and third year of issuance. Also, rises in temperature reduce pollen viability and silk receptivity that resulting in low grain number per ear and consequently reduce grain yield. Higher level of N availability is associated with more damaging due to high temperature effect. Developing tolerant genotypes to high temperature or practicing some agronomic procedures to overcome heat stress will be necessary. This approach uses subtractive clustering method to extract the fuzzy classification rules from data; the rule's parameters are then optimized by using an efficient gradient descent algorithm. The dataset firstly is divided into main classes, and then the subtractive algorithm is applied for each class. The clusters centers set, and sigma set are generated from this clustering process. (belonging to Lepidoptera; Family Gelechiidae) is the only destructive insect, which causes the formation of galls on L. monopetalum leaves. The galled leaf consists of a swollen elliptical shaped body formed at the basal part of the leaf lamina and a green part termed peak at the apex of the gall. The high percentages of infection of L. monopetalum occurred in the individuals of small (1-1.5 m2) and medium (1.5-2.0 m2) cover classes. The infection caused alterations in the leaf traits such as dry mass, surface area, density of stomata and salt glands, transpiration rates, as well as, the chemical composition in comparison to the healthy non-galled leaf. The water output by the galled plants, was 83.4% of the total water loss of the community. The galls showed low contents of nutrient elements, and metabolic products.
